Established in Spartanburg, South Carolina in 1921, Canaan Baptist Church has been serving the Lord and the community for over 100 years! If you are looking for an old fashioned, bible believing, kid friendly, servant-minded, down home, welcoming, small southern church then please dress however you feel comfortable and come on by any Sunday morning or Wednesday night. We would love to meet you and have you worship with us. Be prepared for a message based in scripture, prayer, and a lot of heart felt Christian charity. Come on the right day or night and we may even feed you! We are Baptist after all.
